Position Summary:

The planner/scheduler overall responsibility focuses on the execution of company operations as it relates to safety, production, receiving and inventory controls to meet our commitments to customer service.

Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties):

  • Execution of lean methodologies in production environment with emphasis on planning and scheduling processes.
  • Effectively works and communicates with all departments to create and maintain the operation floor schedule for high volume assembly manufacturing group.
  • Ensures effective communication of priorities and order specific information with emphasizes on retail customers.
  • Meets or exceeds customer expectations by utilizing training and experience to create a manufacturing schedule.
  • Receipts of inbound materials and inventory control.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Secondary Accountabilities:

In addition to the accountabilities listed hereafter, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance workload. Such as, but not limited to; safety, weekly cycle counts, inventory management raw, pack and FG, BDC movements, KPI projects and monthly financial management requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education / Experience: (an equivalent combination of education and experience required to successfully complete the primary accountabilities is indicated below)

Degree: BA or experience equivalent Major: Business, Computer, or operation management

Years of Experience: 2-3 years minimum Area: Planning/Scheduling for Manufacturing
