Position Summary:

Human Resources Operations Supervisor to manage and lead in operational areas of the employment full life cycle for multiple locations to ensure smooth processing of the day-to-day administrative tasks. Owns activities related to compliance, policies, data integrity, training, reporting, communication, and other projects related to business improvements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Leads activities relating to compliance of company benefits, training, programs, and policies
  • Responsible for data integrity of employee data and process to ensure audit compliance
  • Supports the division with leadership training events and developmental opportunities
  • Oversees the team facilitating new employee orientations and programs
  • Must have the ability to negotiate vendor contracts
  • Communicates the process and executes the plan for annual cycle processes such as holiday calendars, performance reviews, budgets, open enrollment, etc.
  • Supervises the team that provides reports and metrics for scorecards
  • Responsible for other divisional projects such as auto inventory and scorecards
  • Leads the divisional programs such as new employee orientation, off-boarding, data integrity, training hours, org chart updates.
  • Initiates and executes process improvements in support of the business.
  • Ability to assist in other areas of HR such as employee relations issues and recruiting.
  • Develops team members to reach their full potential.
  • Creates and communicates SOPs and other HR Operations processes.
  • Manages employee records and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Supervises a remote team of HR employees.
  • May be included in HR process integration for mergers & acquisitions.
  • Works with leaders to ensure safety programs/processes are in compliance. May work with worker's comp carrier to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Other duties and HR projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in HR or related technical field plus five+ years' experience as an HR Operations Manager with remote direct reports. Experience with M&A initiatives is a plus.


Licenses / Certifications:

PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP required


Work Conditions:

Office environment with ability to travel up to 15% domestically.
